History of BelFrit

Founded in 2003, BelFrit began as a small entrepreneurial venture whose goal was to share Belgium’s universal love of fresh, double fried potatoes with the world.

BelFrit takes this unique cultural and culinary passion and translates it into a successful quality snack restaurant. With an impressive network of more then 175 'frituren' under the Best-Frit Quality Label from its sister organisation in Belgium, the concept has quickly expanded to build a comparable network of quality establishments across Europe.

 

The first BelFrit shop opened in Budapest, Hungary and today can be found in over 20 locations in three countries. The franchise has recently launched a new interior design concept, along with an updated menu.
