Sharing a passion for Belgium fries, founding partners and friends Mario Vleugels, Koen Drybooms and Patrick Holemans developed the successful business concept of BelFrit together.

Mario Vleugels is a well-respected entrepreneur and inventor within the Horeca industry. Following in his father’s footsteps, Vleugels has been a wholesaler for snacks and restaurants for over two decades. From inventing the party box for children to building the community of RestoFrit from the ground up, his strong drive and passion for the industry continues to be an inspiration.

Koen Drybooms is a member of an elite circle of Flemish diamond brokers, one of the few remaining in the country. With an extensive travelling background and strong international business contacts, Drybooms’ five spoken languages and strong business development abilities help facilitate conversations and business deals all over the globe.

 

 

Patrick Holemans received his accounting degree from Antwerp University, which he quickly followed up with a Masters in Fiscal Legislation from Brussels EHSAL. He began working at the Antwerp Stock Exchange before becoming an independent Fiscal Advisor. For the past twenty years, Holemans has provided financial advice for a range of SME’s, many in the food industry.
